Streamable HTTPMCP connection

Connect a remote MCP server using its HTTPS endpoint.

Set up the connection.

1. 01

   Copy the MCP endpoint supplied by your server provider. Use HTTPS for remote servers; HTTP is allowed for localhost.

2. 02

   Add an MCP server in Chippi and choose the HTTP transport. Enter a name, endpoint and the authentication your provider requires.

3. 03

   Save the server, refresh its discovered tools and assign the connection to the relevant agent.

After connecting

Refresh the discovered tools and check the server’s authentication status. Assign the server to the agents that need it. Available tools depend on the server and its credentials.
